Black Olive je ispitna predstava treće godine glume u semestru kada se na Akademiji izučavaju žanrovi. Žanr koji ona obuhvaća je parodija, točnije parodija filma noir. Riječ je o autorskom projektu, tekst je napisala studentica Hana Grđan koja također igra u predstavi. Mjesto i vrijeme radnje se odvija u SAD-u, Los Angelesu sredinom 1950ih. Priča prati detektiva Sama Morgana, koji pokušava pronaći ubojicu usmrćenog milijardera. Njegova bivša žena, Bridges Morgan, je jedina osumnjičena, ali detektiv to ne može vidjeti jer je ludo zaljubljen u nju. Također, slab je na plavuše. Ona koristi mnoge taktike kako bi skrenula njegovu pažnju s nje. Treći lik je Ljudmila Ivana Petrovna Vasiljevič Mikhailov, bivši ruski špijun i novi asistent detektiva Sama koja ima dobar predosjećaj da je Bridget ubojica. Samo što on ne želi imati posla s Ljudmilom jer je vrijeme Hladnog rata i on ne želi imati ikakvu poveznicu s Rusima. Kako bi bili što dosljedniji ovom žanru filma noira, igramo na engleskom jeziku s bosanskim titlovima, s crno-bijelom scenografijom i kostimima.
Black Olive is a third-year acting exam production created during the semester in which genres are studied at the Academy. The genre explored in this production is parody, more specifically a parody of film noir. It is an original project, with the text written by student Hana Grđan, who also performs in the play. The story takes place in the United States, in Los Angeles in the mid-1950s. It follows detective Sam Morgan, who is trying to find the murderer of a billionaire. His ex-wife, Bridget Morgan, is the only suspect, but the detective cannot see it because he is madly in love with her. He also has a weakness for blondes. Bridget uses various tactics to divert his attention away from herself. The third character is Ludmila Ivana Petrovna Vasiljevič Mikhailov, a former Russian spy and the new assistant to detective Sam, who strongly suspects that Bridget is the murderer. However, Sam refuses to deal with Ludmila because it is the time of the Cold War and he does not want any association with Russians. In order to remain as faithful as possible to the conventions of film noir, the play is performed in English with Bosnian subtitles, featuring black-and-white scenography and costumes.
