Otvorenje festivala
Međunarodni festival kazališnih akademija Dioniz i ove godine u Đakovo dovodi studente, profesore i umjetnike iz Hrvatske, regije i Europe. 18. izdanje festivala održat će se od 18. do 22. ožujka 2026. u Centru za kulturu Đakovo i drugim gradskim lokacijama, a publici će ponuditi bogat program predstava, radionica, razgovora i izložbi.
Ovogodišnja festivalska tema „Gluma i mentalno zdravlje“ otvara prostor za promišljanje odnosa umjetničkog stvaranja, osobnog iskustva i emocionalne otpornosti umjetnika. Kroz predstave studentskih produkcija, edukativne radionice i javne razgovore festival potiče dijalog o izazovima s kojima se susreću mladi umjetnici te o ulozi kazališta kao prostora susreta, podrške i zajedništva.
Na Dionizu 2026 sudjeluju umjetničke akademije iz Hrvatske i inozemstva, uključujući institucije iz Zagreba, Osijeka, Splita, Sarajeva, Ljubljane, Novog Sada, Cetinja, Banje Luke, Švicarske i Nizozemske. Festival tako nastavlja svoju misiju povezivanja različitih pedagoških i umjetničkih pristupa te stvaranja međunarodne platforme za razmjenu iskustava među mladim kazališnim umjetnicima.
Festival se svečano otvara 18. ožujka u 18:00 sati u Centru za kulturu Đakovo, a nakon otvorenja slijedi predstava „Tri sestre“ Antona Pavloviča Čehova u izvedbi studenata Akademije dramske umjetnosti u Zagrebu. Pozivamo sve ljubitelje kazališta da nam se pridruže i budu dio pet dana posvećenih umjetnosti, susretima i novim generacijama kazališnih stvaratelja.

The International Festival of Theatre Academies Dionysus will once again bring students, professors and artists from Croatia, the region and across Europe to the city of Đakovo. The 18th edition of the festival will take place from 18 to 22 March 2026 at the Đakovo Cultural Centre and other locations in the city, offering a diverse programme of performances, workshops, discussions and exhibitions.
This year’s festival theme, “Acting and Mental Health,” opens a space for reflection on the relationship between artistic creation, personal experience and the emotional resilience of artists. Through student performances, educational workshops and public discussions, the festival encourages dialogue about the challenges faced by young artists and highlights theatre as a space of encounter, support and community.
Dionysus 2026 will host art academies from Croatia and abroad, including institutions from Zagreb, Osijek, Split, Sarajevo, Ljubljana, Novi Sad, Cetinje, Banja Luka, Switzerland and the Netherlands. In doing so, the festival continues its mission of connecting different pedagogical and artistic approaches and creating an international platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences among emerging theatre artists.
The festival will officially open on 18 March at 18:00 at the Đakovo Cultural Centre, followed by the performance “Three Sisters” by Anton Pavlovich Chekhov, presented by students of the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb.
