  • Dramaterapijska radionica: Tko sam ja iza maske? / Who Am I Behind the Mask?

    Svaki dan u 10h

    Autentično JA u glumačkoj profesiji

Voditelji: dr. sc. Iris Tomić i mag. paed. soc.

Studenti glume svaki dan ulaze stvarnost u nekog drugoga.

Dramaterapija ovdje nije terapija u kliničkom smislu.

Who Am I Behind the Mask?

The Authentic Self in the Acting Profession

Facilitators: Dr. Iris Tomić and Robert Janđel, MA

There is a myth that a good actor must be willing to surrender completely — that the boundary between self and character is something to be broken, not protected. This workshop starts from the opposite belief: authentic presence on stage is not possible without a solid inner foundation. An actor who knows who they are can inhabit any character precisely because they know where they return.

Acting students step into someone else’s reality every day. They carry other people’s emotions, speak other people’s words, live other people’s choices. It is a privilege, but also a burden that is rarely named. Acting practice is full of imperatives: be convincing, be vulnerable, be present. In that avalanche of demands, one question almost always goes unanswered: who am I when I take the mask off?

This dramatherapy workshop works with that question. It is not focused on acting technique or the production of scene material — it is focused on the person who carries that technique. On students who every day balance between role and identity, between what is asked of them and who they actually are.

Dramatherapy here is not therapy in the clinical sense. It is a safe, structured, and guided space for exploration, one in which the acting profession stops being just a set of techniques and becomes a conversation with what sustains you and what wears you down.

Over three days, through four therapeutic tools, participants explore the boundary between character and self — and build an inner foundation they can return to.
