Radionica ima za cilj upoznavanje sa alatima dokumentarnog teatra koji mogu pomoći za
oblikovanje vlastitog iskustva u jasnu političku ili aktivističku misao u izvedbenim umjetnostima. Razvijat će se iz dijaloga sa učesnicima i učesnicama gdje ćemo isprva detektirati njihove goruće teme kroz lično iskustvo, u mjeri u kojoj ga budu željeli-e podijeliti, preko niza praktičnih vježbi i scenskih zadataka. Nakon toga ćemo istraživati načine da prikupljeni materijal izvedbeno oblikujemo. Uputit ćemo se u proces istraživanja, selekcije i pronalaska najzanimljiveg scenskog načina za izvedbu materijala, te naravno, raditi na samoj izvedbi.
Selma Spahić je pozorišna rediteljica. Potpisuje 40 pozorišnih režija u BiH, Hrvatskoj, Srbiji, Crnoj Gori, Sloveniji i Njemačkoj. Pored inscenacije dramskih tekstova i adaptacija proze, često razvija predstave iz improvizacija ili iz dokumentarnog materijala. U predstavama se fokusira na intimnu historiju, političnost intime i feminističku dekonstrukciju patrijarhalnih narativa. Od 2012-2017. bila je Umjetnička direktorica Internacionalnog teatarskog festivala MESS. Viša je asistentica na Akademiji scenskih umjetnosti na predmetima Režija I-X, Rad glumca-ice sa rediteljem-icom i Gluma IX.
The workshop aims to introduce the tools of documentary theater that can help shape personal experiences into clear political or activist ideas in the performing arts. It will develop through dialogue with participants, where we will first identify their pressing topics through personal experiences, to the extent they wish to share, followed by a series of practical exercises and stage tasks. Afterward, we will explore ways to transform the gathered material into a performance. We will delve into the process of research, selection, and finding the most interesting staging method for the material, as well as work on the actual performance.
Selma Spahić is a theater director with over 40 productions to her name in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, and Germany. In addition to staging dramatic texts and adapting prose, she often develops performances from improvisations or documentary material. Her work focuses on intimate history, the politics of intimacy, and feminist deconstruction of patriarchal narratives. From 2012 to 2017, she was the Artistic Director of the MESS International Theater Festival. She is a senior assistant at the Academy of Performing Arts, teaching courses in directing and acting.
